About Us

CIC traces its roots to 1975 on the San Francisco Peninsula, founded as a supplier of telephone equipment to residences. In the following years we transitioned from providing residential equipment to providing systems to commercial and government customers.

Later we innovated by providing services which eliminated the need for our customers to purchase and maintain telephone equipment. As the business grew we listened to our customers and watched technological trends. This resulted in different products and services added over the years culminating in our present offerings of Metro Ethernet and Hosted VoIP.

These key products are built for high reliability with leading edge technology which is constantly improved upon and kept current. Our primary service area for our full product portfolio is Northern California, however our Hosted VOIP services are being provided across the United States.

We serve our customers from multiple offices, with our headquarters and operations center being in our owned facility in San Carlos, California. Our network supporting our customers has multiple nodes in established datacenters and central office buildings, all with multiple fiber feeds and emergency power including generators for the highest reliability.

But with all of that technology and equipment, what really sets us apart is our people. A dedicated team of professionals who are used to providing high quality service to customers with demanding applications, day in and day out. A team which consistently completes projects on budget, with high customer satisfaction. A team which will make the extra effort to see that the customer’s needs are met without being asked.
